"Doing Science" can be a gateway to developing the love for science...

Possible Science Projects

Electricity-from-solar-energy
This project is effective in demonstrating the process of conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. This project is possible with children of grade III and IV onwards.

Electricity-from-flowing-water
This project enables the kids to understand exactly how electricity is generated from flowing water. Comprising all the necessary components, this project is simple to assemble and can be worked upon with ease.

Electricity-from-speed-breaker
With the aid of electricity-from-speed-breaker provided by us, kids can easily gain knowledge of the process. They are provided a better understanding of the fact that exactly how electricity is obtained from a speed breaker.

Wind-mill-generator--model
The wind-mill-generator-model depicts a wind turbine that helps in the extraction of energy from wind. A rotary device, this model of wind mill generator gives an idea of how the wind mill works and serves the required purpose.

I can also do other projects like the ones listed below. The idea is to help children see how these things are not 'beyond them'. They are day to day things that can be easily made. Then one can delve deeper into the application of similar principles to create other devices and machines.
  • Water Level Indicator
  • Intercom
  • Torch Light
  • Electric Bell
  • Windmill Generator
  • Water Turbine
  • Solar Light
  • Solar Bell
  • Telescope
  • Periscope
  • Traffic Lights
  • Motor Based vehicles
  • Hand pump
  • rain water harvesting models
  • Kitchen garden and crops ( that will mean growing winter crops in October for now- carrot, radish, mustard etc)
Any other projects that you might want to suggest can also be made.I would be glad to work on projects with children in groups too. This is why we thought of the science birthday parties. Instead of parties at 'malls' why not give children a beautiful gift of learning something new on his/her birthday.
